Have your voice heard in the FederalTax Fairness consultations
Our Government is growing an economy that works for the middle class; where businesses large and small have the confidence to invest, grow, and create good jobs. However, there are signs that our system is not working as well as it should, specifically when it comes to private corporations.
We are committed to listening to the thoughts and perspectives of Canadians, which is why the Department of Finance is holding a national consultation on prospective tax changes.
Our goal is to build confidence in our economy by addressing issues in our existing regulatory framework while ensuring that entrepreneurs, small business owners, and companies of all sizes continue to benefit from Canada’s highly competitive tax regime.
We are committed to listening to the thoughts and perspectives of Canadians, which is why the Department of Finance is holding a national consultation on these prospective tax changes.
This is a complex issue, and any change to the tax system has the potential to affect a large number of people. The Hon. Bill Morneau Minister of Finance is currently engaging with physicians, small business owners, and other key stakeholders to make sure that all concerns are fully considered in advance of the proposed changes.
Share your views by providing your feedback to the Department of Finance at firstname.lastname@example.org. The consultation period will be open until October 2, 2017.
